How to Share Banner Access with Team Members

Banner sharing allows you to grant other users access to view analytics, modify banner settings, and manage consent records for your banners. Only banner owners can manage sharing permissions.

Sharing a Banner

Step 1: Navigate to Share Settings

1. Go to your Banners dashboard
2. Click on the banner you want to share
3. Select the Share tab from the banner menu

Step 2: Invite Team Members

1. Click the "Invite Team Member" button
2. Enter the team member's email address
3. Click "Send Invitation"

The system will automatically:

• Send an invitation email to existing CookieForte users
• Send registration instructions and invitation link to new users

What Shared Users Can Do

When you share a banner, team members gain access to:

• View banner analytics and reports
• Access consent records and data
• Modify banner settings and text
• Update banner configuration

What Shared Users Cannot Do

Shared users have limited permissions and cannot:

• Delete the banner
• Share the banner with other users
• Remove other team members' access
• Change banner ownership

Managing Shared Access

Viewing Current Team Members

In the Share section, you'll see all users who currently have access to your banner, including:

Removing Team Member Access

1. Find the team member in the shared users list
2. Click the "Remove Access" button next to their name
3. Confirm the removal

The user will receive an email notification about the access removal.

Team members can remove their own access:

1. Navigate to the banner's Share page
2. Click "Remove My Access" in the access panel
3. Confirm the removal

After self-removal, users will be redirected to their banners dashboard.
